Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-04-27
Acceptance
By accessing or using Tunory you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What Tunory is
Tunory is a browser-based suite of music tools — tuners, chord finders, scale generators, ear trainers, and related utilities. Tunory offers a free tier and a paid Premium tier.
Account & eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Tunory account, or 16 if you are in the European Economic Area. Children under those ages may use Tunory's free, account-less features (including Kids Mode) only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms on their behalf.
Subscription billing
Subscriptions are processed by PayPal. Monthly plans renew every month, yearly plans renew every twelve months, and lifetime plans are a one-time payment with no recurring billing. Your first paid subscription includes a 7-day free trial; you will not be charged until the trial ends. You can cancel any recurring subscription at any time from your PayPal account, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on Premium subscriptions, no questions asked. To request a refund, email support@tunory.com from the email associated with your account. Lifetime plans are also refundable within 30 days of purchase; after that window, lifetime purchases are final.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, mass-download, or systematically extract content or data from Tunory;
- resell, redistribute, or repackage premium content;
- abuse the microphone API for non-musical purposes (eavesdropping, voice analysis, biometric extraction);
- attempt to bypass authentication, payment, or rate-limiting controls;
- use Tunory to harass other users or violate any law.
Intellectual property
Tunory and all of its content — software, design, written articles, audio samples, diagrams — are owned by Yalintech or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute that content except as allowed by these terms or by applicable law. Content you create inside Tunory (saved tunings, presets, custom chords, practice history) belongs to you, and you grant Tunory only the limited license necessary to host and display it back to you.
Disclaimer
Tunory is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or accuracy beyond reasonable best-effort. Tuners and pitch detectors depend on your microphone, room acoustics, and instrument condition — they are tools, not guarantees.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tunory's total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. You may delete your account at any time from account settings or by emailing support@tunory.com. Account deletion cancels any active subscription and removes your account data within 30 days, subject to the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply.
Changes
When we update these terms, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Tunory after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
